Texas-born BRETT DYER is an Academic Dean of Gallery, Theatre & Live Event Operations at Dallas College as well as an art professor and artist. His recent work combines figures with evocative colors and patterns, revealing the complexity of the human spirit. His work is exhibited throughout the USA.
Brett continues to work as an abstract artist and favors working with a variety of media. Brett exhibits throughout the USA and has won awards and scholarships for his artwork. His art is consistently being exhibited in local galleries and auctioned off for charity events. Currently, his work can be seen on display at the City of Plano Public Library, Texas Woman’s University Graduate School Offices, Dallas College Art Collection, and he has painted murals in Deep Ellum, Dallas College NorthLake Campus, and at the Irving YMCA. His work can also be found as part of permanent collections at multiple homes and businesses.
Brett continues to create art with various media, and he vows to never stop. His work is his life, and his life is his work. They would not exist without each other. His works are expressive reflections of his experiences and revelations that he discovers during the process.
